Boy oh Boy Surly,  That was just fabulous stuff, kinda knew of them vaguely from that one huge hit "Reelin In the Years". Thanks for the reintroduction. Love that smooth cool classy sound.  Reminded me of this old favorite of mine and caused me to go looking for it.

This one a real favorite of mine as well. Something about driving around on a lovely day with a shiny car and listening to this song. it has a relaxing sort of magic to it for me. Hard to explain, strange how we are partial to certain songs and what they do to us.

I saw the Eagles live in 2004. I had heard all those songs so many times but never realised they were 5 guitars in snychrony. No gimmicks or stage effects, just instruments, most memorable. This one I had not heard before and quite like.

Post by: Golden Oxen on May 06, 2015, 07:45:44 am
I'd Love To Change The World Lyrics

Everywhere is freaks and hairies
Dykes and fairies, tell me where is sanity
Tax the rich, feed the poor
Till there are no rich no more?

I'd love to change the world
But I don't know what to do
So I'll leave it up to you

Population keeps on breeding
Nation bleeding, still more feeding economy
Life is funny, skies are sunny
Bees make honey, who needs money, Monopoly

I'd love to change the world
But I don't know what to do
So I'll leave it up to you

World pollution, there's no solution
Institution, electrocution
Just black and white, rich or poor
Them and us, stop the war

I'd love to change the world
But I don't know what to do
So I'll leave it up to you

Songwriters: ALVIN LEE
